It happened in an instant. One moment, the world hummed along as it always had—traffic, politics, wars, extinction. The next, a pulse of light swept across the Earth. No one knows its true origin. Some say it was a cosmic anomaly; others claim it was the awakening of nature itself, correcting an ancient imbalance. 

When the light faded, the animals could speak.

They could plan. They could organize. They understood everything.

Humans—strangely, perhaps mercifully—accepted this new reality without resistance. The fear of rebellion never came. Instead, humanity felt a collective sense of relief, as though the burden of leadership had been lifted from their shoulders. Civilization, in its tired human form, simply… stepped aside.

Now, the newly sentient species Governments are forming. The animals are building new societies—ones which must define laws, symbols, and values from the ground up. As the humans who have been granted positions of privilege in these new societies, you must assist your new masters and help them shape this new world.
