Code of conduct

In order to keep our events safe and successful, attendees are expected to follow our code of conduct. When you attend, you hereby agree to respect the rules below. Participants who are unable to meet the expectations outlined may be asked to leave without refund.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM ALL ATTENDEES (BOTH PLAYERS AND FACILITATORS)

  • to have a professionally facilitated and managed game experience.

  • to participate as fully as you can within the framework of the game.

  • to be allowed to make your own choices within the game and its rules.

  • to be listened to both in and out of the game.

  • to listen to other attendees both in and out of the game.

  • a safe friendly environment free of physical, verbal, and emotional harassment.

  • to not be aggressive, argumentative, racist, sexist, ageist, transphobic and homophobic behavior or language.

  • to respect pronoun choices.

  • to respect other participants’ property.

  • to not carry a firearm at the event.

The Dukes of Highland are committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. Harassment will not be tolerated and will lead to exclusion from the game without refund.
